About Us

Leisureworld Vaughan nestled in Woodbridge at the intersection of Steeles Avenue West and Martin Grove is a long-term care center accommodating 224 residents. The home is organized into seven resident home areas of 32 residents in each area for a total of 45 basic rooms (two residents per room for a total of 90 beds) and 134 private rooms. We offer a number of specialized care services which include specialized nursing for residents with complex care requirements; programs and secure accommodation for residents with cognitive impairments or dementia; professional services; on-site physiotherapy and restorative care programs to maintain resident mobility and independence; recreation and leisure programs which include outings, special events and activities; and palliative care programs. There are a wide variety of optional service and care delivery options available including therapeutic tubs, ceiling & other lifts to accommodate mobility, large central activity rooms suitable for community events and social gatherings, weekly nondenominational worship center & services, tuck shop and hair salon not to mention our conveniently located family suite available to out of town families and visitors.
