About The Doctor's House
|
The original Doctor's House dates from 1867 and earned its name by being home to a succession of medical men - the last of whom, Dr Thomas Henry Robinson, practiced there for 52 years.
For some time now it has taken on a different purpose, as a landmark restaurant and banquet facility, where modern amenities and attentive service combine with superb cuisine and stately surroundings to ensure a memorable event, whether its a romantic dinner for two or a wedding for two hundred.
The extensive grounds include a chapel set in a picturesque garden, providing an idyllic view, especially from the patio. In addition to the main dining area with its beamed ceilings and fireplace, there are six finely appointed banquet rooms.
On the menu are offerings to enthrall all palates, including lamb, beef, seafood and pasta, matched by an extensive list of wines and spirits, and finished with a delicious selection of remedies for your sweet tooth.
As an added treat, live jazz is featured every Saturday night.
The Doctor's House is located in the heart of historic Kleinburg, just around the corner from the McMichael Gallery, with plenty of free parking.
If you are planning a special dinner, or a special event, be sure to make a call to The Doctor's House.
